Auxiliary New Member Process

After the enrollment paperwork is completed the USCG Aux Human Resources (HR) web site provides links for the new member, which, along with the guidance of a mentor from your Flotilla, will provide a guide to what's next and the required training to proceed to Basic Qualified (BQ) status.

Important references for the new member are the frequently used Auxiliary Manuals and publications of directorates with oversight responsibilities (Click here).

New Members should also use a Member Involvement Plan to navigate the opportunities for Auxiliarists.

Access to USCG Auxiliary Information

As a new member you will want to access forms and information. As a first step a new member should establish a zone password to access the forms, AUXOFFICER Directory, training material and a wide range of USCG Aux manuals and information.

Auxiliary Directory

The AUXOFFICER online directory provides access to member contact information, and staff officer and organizational information. One of the most valuable functions of the AUXOFFICER Directory is the ability to update your own information.

Activity Reports

Auxiliary congressional funding is highly dependent on the amount of hours that we put in, this timekeeping form is very important. Form 7029 is used to report your time. You can then return the 7029 form to your Flotilla Commander (FC) or Flotilla Staff Officer – Information Services (FSO-IS).
